Is 512MB DDR2 of system memory good on an android tablet?

I'm thinking about getting an Ematic EGM003BL with Wi-Fi 7" Touchscreen Tablet PC Featuring Android 4.2 (Jelly Bean) Operating System, Blue but I'm used to apple devices so when it said 512MB DDR2 of system memory I wasn't sure if that was a lot or not. I'm used to GB on my devices.

I would like to know because I would mostly use the tablet for games, especially like minecraft which the memory can add up quickly.

Yes for a ARM processor.

But more is always better.

512MB DDR2 is not going to allow you to do much. That tablet is $50 at wal-mart… You shouldn't expect much as far as performance from a tablet that is so cheap.

You can get the Latte ICE Tab2 from Target for around $120. It has a 7 inch screen, but 1GB DDR3, 8GB storage, and a quad-core processor.
