In minecraft, what's the best way to kill an enderman?

Hit him hard

Equip Iron armor and an iron sword, and just go at it xD thats what i always do lol

Make sure to get first hit on him because it matters. Next, just stay 100% alert if the enderman starts to charge at you. If you catch him during his charge, be sure to spam your button until he teleports away for his next attack or dies in which you repeat the process. It can be possible to do this without gear but it is best to have good armor and a good weapon that isn't a bow and some food incase. And if you really need to, than golden apples or certain potions will almost gurrantee your victory.
