In minecraft how do you repair a fishing rod?

You can't, just make a new one.

Well, first you have to chop some wood and dig some stone. When night is coming, make a sword and kill some spiders. When you get strings from spiders, make a new fishingrod. I think that should help.

I've never played minecraft much on PC since I don't own it on PC, but can't you build an anvil to repair equipment?

I'm not sure if it works for fishing rods, but if not, they're easy to make anyway, just make a new one when it breaks.

I looked at all your messages and every single thing you have said will all help. I went on the wiki and it says that you can repair fishing rods in anvil's with string I think if that don't work please do tell me and ill look at it again
