I know shaders may cost alot of lag, but its causing 14-25 FPS on my minecraft using LITE.
I have a windows 8 laptop that i got for christmas. So its still pretty new.

64-bit operating system, x64-based proccessor
I'm assuming you're using Intel HD graphics.
In that case, you're lucky you're running shader mods at all. They make Minecraft almost 3X as demanding as the regular version.
So if you're not using a dedicated graphics card or specialist APU. You will not get good performance.
