I want to buy a good gaming laptop but I know nothing about it?

I'm looking for a gaming laptop that can run games such as world of worldcraft, minecraft, skyrim… I'm a pretty diverse gamer and really prefer PC to console. Can you guys give me a breakdown of how to go about buying one? Also steam is a must

Laptops are not intended for gaming. That a machine might play games is a sideline.
What you do is get the Recommended Specs for the various games you want to play.
Then you compare what the game needs to what the machines in your area offer.
If the machine meets or exceeds the games needs the better.
