I'm looking to spend $500-$750 to get a good computer for gaming. I would play Sims 2, Sims 3, and Minecraft on the highest settings. It needs to be Windows 7 and would like it if I didn't have to buy too many extras for it. It also needs to be a PC, not a Mac.

Find something with an NVidia GTX video card and go for an i5 processor with 8Gb of RAM (though RAM could be added later). That is your best bet for the money mentioned.
You need a gaming computer for minecraft? I say you put your new gaming pc to use, get high def games like skyrim, world of warcraft. Heroes and genreals, e.t.c. Get your gaming hat on!

This is my PC, it has no problems with games up to DayZ and Arma 3 as far as have tested, getting 30-46 fps depending on the server. It isn't too loud and comes with a decent case with nice fans and colour. I was on a budget and was amazed i could get this for this cheap as it is really good! OK i'm going to stop now it sounds as if i'm advertising it. And it will run Minecraft on full easily.
