I just downloaded 7 minecraft maps, and none of them appear in my list. Is there a way to fix it?

I did the correct procedure with all maps, extracted them, put them in the saves folder and made sure the version was compatible with the map. However, none of these maps appear. I have downloaded maps in the past, and most of them used to appear, others not. I used cracked Minecraft.
