I just bought and downloaded minecraft, and it had me make an account to buy it. So i did. Then i downloaded java runtime. When i try to play, it only gives me the option to play the demo. Even if when i log in using the account i had just made to buy the gamedid i just lose 30$?

Try restarting your computer and redownloading it using the username you purchased

Sorry, but yes you did. They aren't trying to cheat you out of anything though, it's a bug. Might want to contact Mojang support at minecraft.net

Contact support, and check to make sure you received the receipt for Minecraft with the e-mail address you used for the account.
