I don't like video games anymore?

I'm a 15 year old guy. I stopped playing video games at the beginning of this year. I don't know why. I just started playing less and less every time, and now I don't remember when was the last time I played.

I'm (was) a PC gamer. The problem is that my dad and I spent a lot of money on my laptop and games, and I can't sell it because I need it for school.

Ever since I started playing guitar more than usual (I've been playing for 4 years, but now I play more than ever, almost everyday) I stopped playing. Also, I go out a lot more on Fridays and Saturdays, than before. And even if I stay home, I play guitar on a Friday or Saturday night. And even when I'm on my laptop, I watch concerts or guitar videos or just go through social media.

I don't want to stop playing guitar, since I started playing a lot more, I've become really good. But also I want to go back to play video games.

I have Minecraft, Black Ops 2, Batlefield 3, Advanced Warfare, Battlefield 4, Left 4 Dead 2, Skyrim, Batman: Arkham City, Batman: Arkham Asylum, Batman: Arkham Origins, Tomb Raider, Slender: The Arrival, Resident Evil 5, Resident Evil 6 (I think those are all). I mean, I still like them, but I don't feel the urge to play anymore. It's not like before, that I HAD to play or else I was bored.

Playing and getting good at guitar is a lot better than being good at a video game. Only play video games if you feel like it, and don't force yourself otherwise you won't enjoy it. You could also try different genres.

There's nothing wrong with you or anything you've just grown out of gaming and found something 'better' that you like more and have more interest in. I did the same but with animes instead…

Your interests will change over time. I'm 44 and I've been through times when I didn't watch much tv, or I didn't play video games, or I hung out with certain people, or I was really into a particular hobby or whatever, and then other times when I would play video games, binge watch shows, not want to be around people, etc. Do what you love, whatever it is that makes you happy and feeds your soul.
