I'm going to start a Let's Play channel on youtube?

And I wanted to know if when I upload my first video in a few hours if anyone would check it out? I'll be holding a giveaway for my first ever video! So that's a reason to watch! You don't even have to subscribe.

Take a quick search on YouTube and find out what is the least uploaded. That will make more people find your videos. If you make Minecraft then you have to be very lucky if someone was to find your video in the hundreds of thousands of videos uploaded a second.
Also pick a game that you are interested in the playing as well, nothing that you have played before, but pick something that you like (FPS, racing, whatever).
You should also get your channel verified by YouTuber.

Try to have some good thumbnails, good quality and good audio/commentary. This will make people want to click it (thumbnail) and people want to stay if the quality of audio/gameplay/video is good.
