So i have the folder for a minecraft world i got from another laptop and I don't know how to use it in minecraft. I have a macbook which has the el capitan version. I also am using the new minecraft launcher. The tutorials I have seen say to go to the 'library' folder and then go to 'application support' etc but i don't have that library folder. How do i use the world?

Took me a while the first time I tried to do this.
Open Finder, click on "Go" at the top and hold down alt, this will show the library folder you're looking for. Then simply go to Application Support > Minecraft > Saves
