Update Java not JavaScript which is a different programming language. The latest version of Java can be downloaded from https://java.com/...//java.com
Java comes with Minecraft now.

I've uninstalled Java as suggested by this article and I recommend everyone doing the same.

For Minecraft you need to update Java which is not the same as Javascript. You can get the latest version here…
