I just downloaded blender, and I also downloaded a minecraft player rig, I accidentally said always open this type of file with windows photo viewer. I deleted the rig, and then I downloaded it again, but it still opened using photo viewer. I tried right clicking the file, but there was no open with. What do I do?
Added (1). It says it's a BLEND file, so I don't know what to do.
Press and hold the Shift key while you right-click the file
Right click on file and choose what program you wish to open your file.
Right click on a file that has the extension you want like.jpg or.png and look for a option named "open with" hover over this and select choose default program then find the program you want it to open with in your case blender and click on it all the files with that extension will open with blender NOTE: the two main picture formats/extensions are.jpg and.png so you might have to do these steps on 2 files one.jpg and one.png and most of your picture will open with your selected program if not do the steps i just gave you on that format as-well. Right click on photos go to open with and change the default property as you required.
First you need to decide what program you want to open it with.
RIGHT CLICK the file, now choose properties at the bottom of the list
From the properties window Click "CHANGE" tab.
Now choose your program or browse to it.
NOTE: if it is not grayed out, Make sure the box is checked that says " Always use this program to open the selected file"
Click apply / save
