How to speed up Minecraft Video Game Recordings?

When I don't record, my Minecraft fps is around 110 fps (normal world, not superflat). When I do record, however, it drops to around 30-40fps. This is incredibly hard to play Survival Games. Is it normal dropping from around 100fps to around 40fps? If not, how should I fix this.

PS: I'm using Action! Mirillis

Yes it is normal especially if you use a bad screen recorder. I have never had experience with action but I have used fraps and it just drops my FPS a bit in most games like down by 5 FPS about. I recommend you use FRAPS, or buy a video card.

Depends what's your computer configuration. But it's in many cases normal behavior. Try Bandicam, it will work a lot better.

It's definitely normal and it depends on the recording software you use. I've been told some of the software for recording really eat up the fps. I've heard that bandicam and fraps eat up fps more than let's say Action. But it can also have to do with your computer. Maybe it's not the software, but it's your computer.
