How to play minecraft for free without downloading it?

Go to it's site, if there's an option to play online, you can easily do that.

If you go to minecraft's website you can play a demo there I believe. It's the adventure mode where you can travel and fight and such but you can't build or destroy since it's the free version that's not downloadable. Otherwise you can't. Sorry.
