How to play a free trial of minecraft without downloading it?

There used to be a way, but as far as I know, there's no longer one. You would have to purchase it yourself, or play with a friend to see if you want it. Watching someone play can help you decide. **youtube works, also.

Go to minecraft.net, then create an account and click play demo. There should an option to play in browser, but just download the demo, there's no virus if it has 10+ million downloads.
