Post good quality content regularly at least once every other day. Make good thumbnails, channel art and icon and make a channel trailer. Most importantly for a gaming channel DO COMMENTARY. Make sure your channel stands out because if it does, the subscribers will come.

Ask your friends to do the same.
Also, do videos with other YouTubers so their subscribers get a chance to see your videos as well
