Minecraft is quite an addictive game and if you can't get enough of this application, then you can have a get sneak preview in this beta version. In this pre-release, the fundamentals of the game did not change at all.

This is a tutorial of how to play minecraft free with a "premium" account. In minecraft.net, what you buy isn't minecraft, it's your account. You make it premium. This account will only work with the program you will download. You will need the latest version of Java to play. And a gmail and minecraft account. USE GOOGLE CHROME

1) Go to mineshafter.appspot.com
2) In the top right hand corner of the page, it says login. Click on it.
3) Put your gmail account and password.
4) Click on where it said login (which now your hmail account appears).
5) The first thing it will say is "Connect your Minecraft account"
6) Put your minecraft account and password.
7) After it connects, go to downloads which is next to instructions and server list.
8) Download the proxy for players. NOT THE PROXY FOR SERVER.
9) Once it is downloaded (it will take about 0.5 seconds) drag it into your desktop.
10) Open it and minecraft will open.
11) Put your minecraft account and you can play minecraft.

WARNING!
Two other files will appear once you open minecraft proxy or whatever its name is. They will be Minecraft.jar and Minecraft Modified. DO NOT DELETE THEM. If you open the minecraft.jar it will open minecraft but if you put your account it will say Account Not Premium cause your account is not premium. If you open minecraft modified, it won't open. DO NOT CHANGE THE NAMES OF THE FILES. The files will not have the minecraft icon. They will have a java icon. Whenever you want to play, open the minecraft proxy, not the other files.

Minecraft is one of the best indie games, ever.
If there's a game you Really want to play, don't you think it's worth buying? If it really looks THAT fun and you want it so bad, the developers deserve the revenue. The best, and most respectable way to obtain a game of the quality of Minecraft is to buy it. You will NOT be disappointed.
