How to get out of the Nether in Minecraft creative mode?

I made a portal in creative mode and got to the Nether, then I lost my portal. I've probably spent more than 3 or 4 hours walking around trying to find the stupid thing and I can't find it anywhere. Is there any way I can use some kind of cheat or a certain method to get out?

Build another Nether portal

Just build another portal, it may not take you back to your original if you're far enough into the nether but it will take you back to the surface either way

You can just easily build another one or if you have put a bed in the normal world then just Lille yourself somehow and you'll spawn in your bed

Depending on if your on PC or Xbox or PS3, if youre in creative then you have cheats. So if you go into survival mode and kill yourself from the lava then youll spawn back in the overworld. Another option is build another portal, but personally i'd go for the first option.
