How to get fish in minecraft creative?

I can't get the fishes into the water in creative am i doing something i wrong i also can't use the bowls, seeds, or food

You can either spawn in a fishing rod, and fish as if you were in survival. Or you can spawn in a raw or cooked fish under "food."
