I'm creating a costume, and I need to make a circle through it to put it inside of a rectangle and to fit over my head (it's a Minecraft pig, if you're wondering). The circumference (the area around) I need is 32 inches. What is/how do you find the diameter and radius of a circle? And how to I trace a perfect circle that big?

Stick a thumb tack in the middle of the circle and tie a piece of thread to it. To the other end of the thread tie a pencil. Now you can draw a circle. If you make the thread about 5.1 inches long, that should give you a 32 inch circumference.

Circumferenc e= pi*d
32 = 3.14 d
32/3.14 = 10.19 inches
radius= 1/2 the diameter = 5.45 inches
