How do you put the armor on and feed them? I'm a starter, so please be gentle. I got apples and right click, and whenever i do that on a horse, they just open their mouths. And i can't put armor on, please tell me how to tame them too.

So first you need to tame them. I think you can use carrots. Once you tame it ride it and press E. That will open the horse inventory there will be a slot to put armour there. I don't think you have to feed horses. If you want them to breed you need to use golden carrots.
First, feed it apples until it's full grown. (They opened their mouths because they already are). Then, right click the horse to tame it. At first, it may kick you off, but eventually you'll see hearts, meaning it's tamed. Press E and take a saddle/armour out of your inventory and put it in the proper slot. Press L to dismount.
