How to download old minecraft updates?

Try to find 1.6.2 and just install it…

There's a really easy way to do this. Follow my steps.

1. Open up your minecraft launcher, and log in.
2. On the bottom left hand side corner click new profile.
3. You see a box with options pop up, name it whatever you like, under version selection enable all the checkboxes and then click yes when it asks if your sure.
4. After clicking all 3 checkboxes go to the drop down menu under version selection and find your version!
5. Have fun! (to change back just switch back to your old profile, or just click use latest version in the version drop down menu!) :)
