How to buy Sims 3 online and download it?

My laptop doesn't use CD's and I just wanna buy and download it. (like Minecraft) Is that possible?

No you have to have the disc sorry you also need a graphics card and sound card.

I have a combination of discs and downloads for sims 3, but lately, I prefer buying the digital copy because its more convient, and when origin and amazon has a sale it's usually for the digital copy. Check to see if the origin sale is still going on. You can get up to 70% off the digital copy of their sims 3 games. If not, then they might have another sale before sims 4 comes out.

I've checked the origin site and you just missed the sale. Now the games are regular price - $20+. I personaly buy from amazon and origin becasue I've heard there's some funny stuff with steam. For example, you can't buy an expansion pack from steam unless you buy the base game from them. So, if you already have the base game and they have a sale on an expansion, then you can't buy teh expansion from them. That's silly. Amazon and origin doesn't' make you do that. Also, origin is the official EA retail store. You'll be required to setup an account with them if you want to play your sims game, regardless of where you buy it.
