How much does animation software cost?

When i say animation i don't mean stop motion animation i mean animation like revenge minecraft song (search on youtube if you don't know what i'm talking about)#

Well, I don't know exactly what software they used.
Autodesk Maya seems to be what most 3D animators use though.

And then I believe there are a number of other programs that compliment it… Like ZBrush.

That said, professional 3D animation software is insanely expensive.

It looks like it's $3,675 just to buy the full version of Maya.

And the cheapest option they offer would be $30/month for Maya LT.

That said, I believe they offer a free 3 year license if you're a student. Not sure if you have to specifically be studying CGI though.
