Its my first time playing and the launcher keeps hanging there after the download is finish. What is wrong?
Added (1). hangs there: loads all the way then nothing happens
Added (2). shows the blue bar done but then nothing happens. Its legit and I got it from mojang website.
Minecraft isn't a big download at all. What do you mean by hanging? You mean freezing? Describe please.
Check your internet connection, if your internet is unstable, the download may not be finished and may be paused/cancelled. Do try to install Minecraft again from the official website, and not cracked versions as they may contain viruses.
Try doing %appdata% and see if there's a.minecraft folder with logs resource packs and all the haps. Can you please add a little more detail? It may also be internet like Nugget said. The official site is https://minecraft.net/...craft.net/
