Yesterday at around 1:00 pm, I bought Minecraft through Minecraft.net. It gave me the "Placing order" screen with the cow on it. It has been 16 hours and I'm still on the Placing Order Screen. Is it supposed to take this long? Or have I done something wrong?

It should be immediate, but it's common to run into problems when buying it. Has it charged you already for the game? If so I'd contact support and tell them what's going on and they should fix the problem.

Try refreshing it as it may have crashed. If you've refreshed it and it still takes forever you should contact Minecraft support.
