Desktop pc that can run minecraft?

Pretty much any modern computer with a video card can play mine craft no problems

Minecraft at 100 FPS… I would lower that expectation down a tad… Perhaps like to 40 FSP…$400 computer can play some games but not on high / max / ultra… Medium.medium low at best…

And as for running skype at the same time… Well… That may prove a challenge… Do able. But a challenge

Any modern computer can run minecraft i had a windows 7 computer and it does it just fine make sure that your procesor is good

Minecraft is not very demanding even on high settings, any computer with compatibility should do.

Neither Skype nor Minecraft are very demanding programs, even while running them together. Just make sure you have a computer with at least 4GB of RAM (8GB would be better, 16GB would be too much), at least any modern dual-core processor (quad-core would be better), with the processor running at least 2.8 GHz or better.

I would recommend an AMD A6, A8, or A10 processor, because they have relatively powerful graphics subsystems on them, especially the A8 and A10. You can play Minecraft on any of those processors, but you'd need at least the A8 or A10 to play any other games more powerful than Minecraft. On the Intel side, the processors that you can buy that will keep you under $400 are only the Celeron or Pentium, but their graphics subsystems are not as good as the AMD ones, so playing Minecraft at high FPS would be less likely.
