Custom Resource Pack 1.7.4?

I have made a custom resource pack for minecraft 1.7.4 and I put it in the resource pack folder, but it isn't showing up in minecraft!

This happens to me time to time. I don't create custom ones, but occasionally, I'll put a resource pack into the folder, and it will never show, I would have to redownload the resource pack a few times until it would work.
I think maybe you messed up on something when you were making the resource pack. When it comes to modding games, very tiny errors can screw up everything. Check on your work, resave it, maybe it will work in that time.
