Computer won't allow me to open games?

I can't run any games that have launchers, For example when I try to play Eden Eternal (f2p mmo rpg) It freezes up and says "not responding", I've tried some different games like minecraft and the same thing happens, Any one have any tips on how to fix this? My laptop was never like this before.
