Computer Build for Minecraft? - 1

How well will the performance of this build do on Minecraft?

I'm just focusing on how good the performance is/how much fps it will get.

10 to 30 if your lucky, add a $100 gpu and it will do much better. Closer to 200 fps

You either got lucky on picking parts or actually did a little research.

Its actually a very great build for a starter gaming pc, and the choices on hardware are actually quite good.

That case has a wrong link/price for newegg http://www.newegg.com/...6811146075
its actually cheapest there, since its free shipping AND a mail in rebate.

And remember to keep in mind about combo deals at different vendors (esp newegg). Not all of them are picked up by pcpartpicker.

like http://www.newegg.com/...bo.1469178
You pay like $10 more for the motherboard at the start, but there's a $20 mail in rebate, so you essentially get it for $10 cheaper after you get it in a few weeks. BUT this board is a hell of a lot better (and would be capable of overclocking that cpu if you ever had the desire to)\

or if you wanted to save money, you can get a motherboard equal or lesser to your choice with this deal http://www.newegg.com/...bo.1468220 for VERY cheap due to combo savings. (tho this board doesn't say it supports 2133 memory, so it may have to run at 1866)

Your case and psu WILL allow for adding a dedicated gpu later (like an amd 7770/7790/7850 or the r7s or up to an r9 270) which would give you a MORE then capable gaming machine in the future.

Atm with that cpu and the integrated graphics on it using 2133mhz dual channel memory you can EASILY max minecraft at like 100+ fps at 1920x1080…
You can probably play most EVERY game available for the pc at good fps (tho mroe demanding ones will ofc be on lower settings/resolutions), but you should be able to definitly play eveyrthying at a more solid like 30+ fps.
