What am i missing? I'm trying to list games that have had an incredibly influence on the gaming industry.
Mostly indie games that have spawned alot of clones.

AAA games excluded because their success is expected and they aren't really disruptive.

Here's some that I think were quite viral:

*) Pokemon GO
Managed to create a Pokemon craze all over the world, and become the hottest game in 2016.

*) Doki-Doki Literature Club
A rare case of game, where a Visual Novel game has garner lots of players and streamers.

*) Granblue Fantasy
A very successful mobile game from Japan that manages to become so big, they expand the franchise to other media, & even becomes a sponsor of a big soccer team in Italy.

*) Kantai Collection
This game is very big in the anime lovers around the world, and it become the pioneer of the "Girls X Machines" genre, whether in game or other media.

*) Hellblade: Senua's Sacrifice
AAA game quality, but were made with an indie budget. This award-winning game proves that AAA quality game can be made without using lots of money.

*) Star Citizen
An over-ambitious game that was made by crowdfunding, and also could become the biggest. This game started its development in 2011, it still not finished until this day.
