Can't be bothered making a video?

I only have 21 subs on YouTube, my friends say that my videos are good and that I'm good at it, I guess I'm ok at my videos… But I know a guy who said that in order to get good subs on youtube you have to be consistent, which I'm not. I make gaming videos, and they are pretty easy to make, all I have to do is make the thumbnail in photoshop, spend about 15-20 minutes recording, then spend 3 hours rendering/editing + uploading. I'm currently doing a let's play of Bioshock Infinite, and my other 2 let's plays which I tried (simcity and minecraft) I have ditched because I found them boring. Anyway, anyone got any tips for actually getting my youtube done? I guess I only record when I'm home alone or with other people, I don't know why though. :/

There isn't really any easy answers for this question, rather than just saying to make a schedule and write down a time when you plan to do it every week so you know not to let anything interfere with that time.

Well you could try vlogging too and take requests if you find a game boring try to find ways to spice them up people get a kick out of horror games the way people react they also like rage game make vids when you can good luck!

Being consistent is important to growing your channel. You also need to make interesting videos, use good tags, make use of social networking, now how to promote your content properly, and think outside the box. In short it takes a lot of time and work to do it well.

It sounds like you already know what to do, but are having trouble motivating yourself. If you are serious about having a YouTube channel, you'll have to get over your hesitations and get work done. We can offer advice, but it is up to you to do the hard work.

You will come across many situations like this, where you are obligated to do something that you might not like. Although quitting is an option, you will come off better in the end by seeing these challenges through. So either learn how to quit, or learn how to commit.
