I need help finding a good gaming build. I've never built a computer before and i could use some help. I can only spend around $400. I already own a case, optical drive, and HDD. It needs to include an OS. It has to be able to play games like Minecraft, Portal, Gmod, and GTA: LC on medium to low settings. Can anyone help me out?

Here's what you need:
* NEC Socket 7 board with PCI - Nothing can go wrong with NEC, right?!
* Pentium 1 MMX 166MHz - That's right a full 32-bit CPU! Not 16-bit and with Multimedia Instructions sets too!
* A scorching 64MB of RAM - Man, anything larger is just UNHEARD of! Nobody could EVER use more than 64MB!
* 4GB IDE HDD - Not SCSI! It's the wave of the future!
* Soundblaster Pro Audio card - hey, with REAL MIDI!
* Voodoo 2 graphics PCI card - NOT ISA! PCI is So much faster!
And that should get you to play Duke Nukem 3D on SVGA settings, or Quake I and II! You'll have the most awesome Windows 98 Personal Computer on the street!
Oh don't forget your mechanical keyboard and ball mouse!
