I want to buy a laptop that looks great, holds lots of internet tabs, holds some light gaming for minecraft and sims 3/2, and basic school work which I can use at home and sometimes out and about. My criteria was 6GB+ RAM, i3+ processor, a reasonably sized screen, under £500 and ideally with a cd drive. Ideally I wanted a macbook pro but it's too expensive for what it's worth. I found the dell inspiron and the asus laptops to have almost exactly the same specs and I can't decide! They even have the same thickness! Which is better? Or have I missed a load of better laptops with the same criteria? It would be great if anyone has experience with either of these laptops or even their make of dell and asus.
Thanks, and here are the specs.
