So, I have looking up a whole bunch of ways to find diamond in minecraft, but none of them seem to work for me, probably because i'm not doing it right. Anyway, I heard that if you are in a cave with lava AND water, you got really lucky. I'm in a HUGE cave thing with a lava pool and a lava-fall thing? And a water fall and a pool of water and stuff. Also, there's a bunch of red stone and lapis lazuli (?)
Am I close to diamond? I need it to make an enchanting table.
Keep looking. It's there. Also diamond is mostly find on the Y coordinate '12'. So you shouldn't be too far from it. I would also recommend bringing a water bucket for the lava.
Dig around near the lapis lesuli and see if you find anything and if you find two pockets of diamond figure out how far forward and to the side it is and dig that way
Diamonds only appear below level 15 so any level below that should be fine to look for diamonds,
I normally make a branch mine at level 12 (level 11 is where lava pools appear so at level 12 you don't run into annoying lava that can kill you)
Just keep looking for diamonds below level 15 and eventually you will find some (it may take a while)
