My computer has McAfee Internet security as well as windows parental controls.
All though the computer allows Minecraft to function offline, it will not allow
it to connect to the internet to download updates.
What permissions need to be changed in order to allow the minecraft application access?
Removing the parental controls
Just go out and get a job and earn your own way (paying for your own food, clothing, shelter, electricity, internet access, and everything else), then you can have complete control over what you do.
Get the password to the Admin account on the computer, go to MacAfee and disable parental restrictions lol
