I'm building a huge house, but monsters keep spawning in it. I don't have a roof yet, so the sun can get them but they rarely burn. Can I just turn them off somehow? Or is there a better way to get rid of them besides spending 20 min killing them all? I'm playing Xbox version, by the way.

Go into your settings and change the difficulty to "Peaceful" that stops monsters from spawning and removes any existing ones
