Would it help if I upgraded to awireless N router?

I'm currently using a wireless-G router off of a Q-west DSL line. The loading speed slows way down if my kids start playing minecraft or Roblox. Would it help to upgrade to a wireless N router or should I just save my money?

Save your money because it is not upon Wi-Fi Connectivity. It is about Internet Access. Probably your internet is eaten up through many access.

Well only update your wif-fi router if the signal range in few places are week

DSL typically tops out about 3Mbps (megabits per second). A wireless G modem is rated at 54Mbps, so the likeliest bottleneck is at the DSL service. Try a speed test connected to the DSL line directly and then through the wireless router. Wired is usually faster than wireless but it will give you an idea.
