I have a minecraft server and it is linked up to a port on my personal internet. The problem is it works for me when i use "localhost" as the server address, but my IP changes every day and that means it doesn't work for others (But it does on the odd occasion.) Is there any way I could have a set IP address for the server?

If it's just a private server, you could use a program like Hamachi.
If you want to setup a static IP (for a public server, for example), you should refer to your router's interface/manual.

If you haven't set the server to static ip in your router that's step one. The 2nd step is either talk to your isp and get a static ip address or get urself a dynamic dns nane from no-ip or any other dyndns company then everyone connects to that rather then your ip
