I made a Minecraft bukkit server but when I try to do some commands such as /tp player name 1 player name 2 a message shows up saying I do not have the permission to do so…
I don't know what's going on but I noticed a permission file but I have no idea what to do with it.

Yes you need to make your self op, there should be a text file in your server config for doing so, add your username to this. Make sure you get all cases correct i.e. Upper case or lower case letters within your user name
