So I play on survival server in a town and I'm trying to reduce lag so I was wondering what blocks or items cause lag thanks!

Non of them cause lag.
Unless you throw every item into a pile and they never de-spawn then it will cause lag. If you're playing on a server then it's the server that is laggy not you either that or your ping is high.
