What are the Pros & Cons in Minecraft Playstation 3 edition?

Pro it's awsome because it's minecraft con you can only play with your friends

This is versus the PC edition.
+Easier configuration of skins and texture packs
+Can be less laggy than the PC version
+Multi-player maps are easier to configure
+Easier to configure voice chat
+Split-screen multi-player
+Simplified controls (because of the controller)
+Trophies (which can be shared through your PS3 account)

+/- World size is limited (some people like to fill maps; PC Minecraft worlds are technically infinite).

-You must pay for skins and textures (they are free on the PC)
-Controls are less precise
-PS3 version is more than a year behind the PC version
-Fewer creative multi-player maps and mini-games
-It's easier to YouTube the PC version.

And the big one:
---The PS3 version can't be modded.

There are *thousands* of PC Minecraft mods. Some are very simple, some make it an entirely new game. The PS3 version will never have access to mods.

Personally this is why I will never own a counsel version of Minecraft. Mods just mean too much to me.
