Why is Minecraft isn't the same as it was before?

Ok so to get things straight, I don't hate Minecraft, It's a good game and all but… I finally decided to quit playing it… I've been it playing for two years or so but nowadays, It just doesn't feel the same way as it was before like in old Minecraft. (Alpha version to be specific) Its it just because I'm some guy who is all 'I like it the way it was before' because I started playing Minecraft in those old days? Has minecraft become just bad? Or is it something else? Because the last Time I had REAL fun while playing minecraft is when I decided to play the LITE version of Minecraft pocket edition a couple weeks ago (It was an app for iOS that was then deleted from the app store a couple years ago that is very similar to 'old' Minecraft - on the version 0.2.1 alpha) So someone… Help me out here?

Added (1). I also forgot to mention that I play (or used to. ) Minecraft PC, Xbox 360 edition, and Pocket Editon

You're probably thinking about it too hard, really not a whole lot has been changed from it, you're probably just bored of it anymore, although there's basically infinite replay value, especially with mods, it gets repetitive and boring for most people I know who've played it. I can't stand playing it without someone else, and even then it doesn't take long to get boring.

On PC the community fell into a ditch. Most of the good people moved on and now you see a bunch of kids trolling, griefing, annoying, and using hacked client. I love the game it USED to be my favorite. Once minigames came out the YouTube community is now filled with them instead of doing what the game was MADE for… Its not the game at all, its the people on it now.
