I'm looking to build a gaming PC in the near future. I don't know too much about actually building a beast of a computer, but I know it can't be done with just pocket change. I'm looking to spend around $1000 maybe. That may sound low to many, so I'm willing to negotiate that estimate. I want it to be able to run online games near flawlessly, such as Counter Strike GO, Minecraft, and many others. I also want it to be able to render and edit videos, which I later plan to post on YouTube at high quality. I also want it to be able to livestream games on Twitch.TV at a decent quality as well. I've heard of the term over clock, but I do not plan to force my PC into performing crazy speeds as I feel it could potentially damage it. So no I do not plan to overclock. And my reason for building is that I heard that it is cheaper, more customizable, and a great satisfying experience in general. My internet isn't too great at the moment, but I look to improve that soon. Hopefully that isn't too much of a limiting factor. So I guess what I'm looking for is some tips for building my own gaming PC and maybe even an expert to talk to that can walk me through the whole process that is looking for the best outcome for me. I appreciate any help and responses I can get. For further info, you can definitely contact me on Twitter @AshtonM64 + on Skype at eldios_titan_sp + email me at kingofawesome12@rocketmail.com Thanks so much. I hope to be able to start this build very soon this summer
Looking to build a gaming PC?
There are plenty of non overclocked PC's builds for 1k. I hope you find someone to walk you trough this process step by step because its time i can't unfurtunately give you at the moment
$1,000 is a great budget. I suggest using a website like https://ca.pcpartpicker.com/ to source your parts. It also won't let you put wrong parts into a build (i.e. Chipset of motherboard will match CPU).
Also check out this link for some reading on each part in a computer.

Once you have sourced all of your parts check out this youtube video:
$1000 is a great budget. Since you're also interested in video editing and streaming consider the i7 4790K as your processor, hyperthreading and its awesome clock speed will help. 16 GB of RAM will help your video editing too. You'll want the best graphics card you can afford, I'd guess a GTX 970 or an R9 390.
This build is all the budget but good parts for a great gaming PC:

You can save by not using a SSD and perhaps going to a cheaper HDD.
You can also go with a GTX 960 for $100 less but gaming is all about the video card so try and stick with the 970.
I did not include a power supply or case because there are a lot of choices and none are clear winners.
