Every time I download a mod for minecraft it won't let me install it. Most tutorials I looked at used Java to install it. I install Java but it won't use it. It uses internet explorer and it won't change. I have no idea how to fix this. Any tips will help!

I don't think you need Java for it

Yes I also downloaded forge. That download fine. But when it comes to other mods it won't download and it's annoying.
