Is there any minecraft like games that are free to play?

Compared to the $55 for a console game, Minecraft is a huge value as you can play it for years.

Terreria is a for-pay game, but it is a huge value for just about $10. It is a side-scrolling crafting/survival game.

Try "Unturned" which is free. Go to YouTube and search for "GangZ" or other videos that cover Unturned group play. It is also a crafting/survival game.

There are many, many survival type games like "Stranded Deep" DaysZ and others that take an initial fee, but it is usually quite small compared to AAA console games, but offer many hours of gameplay.

Remember: with 'free' you often get what you pay for. A few bucks can get you some great games.
