How to change my Minecraft player skin?

Find a skin from somewhere like skindex.com and download it on to your computer. Then go on to minecraft.net and press profile and there should be a subheading called skin… You can then choose to upload to computer and then press that and find the skin you downloaded (most likely to be In your Dowload folder) and upload it… Then finally press upload skin and TADDaA… You may need to wait around an 1 hour for the change to be made

Create or download your skin, then upload it by logging into minecraft.net, and selecting the Profile link. Since there's no reflective surfaces in Minecraft, the only way to see your skin in single player is to go to third person view by pressing F5 (and again to switch back to first person view) or simply opening the inventory.
