Good gaming laptop that's cheap?

Okay so I'm kinda short on cash but I want a laptop that's good with gaming but not to expensive. Like is there's HP laptop that's good with gaming like Minecraft Sims etc. Because the laptop I have now lags so bad when I play those games so please help!

Acerone

Go for lenovo

I would suggest Alienware Computerware.

First of all, don't touch HP in anything, if its an acer which has had a 3rd party put a HP sticker on it, or even you for novelty effect, ditch it, that could be enough to wreck it.

while not particularly cheap, go for the toshiba qosmio range. They are the best value for money in the long run, they are designed to substitute a pc and basically last forever.

They have very few flaws, the x70's now don't get overheating issues anymore, quite light but also bulky, so you know they are being practical, unlike hp with has its ram and cpu practically pressing on the case. Plus qosmios are plainly huge laptops, boasting 17-19" sizes with 17-18" screens.

I bought one 5 years ago, although i upgraded because i bought one with an inherintly poor graphics card, the old one still works perfectly, everything is great. Now i have an x70, opposed to the old x500.

they will do anything and everything. Now also the parts are easy to access for modding/ parts upgrades/replacements. Bloatware is minimized to a toolset for maintaining the computer which you probably will want to use because its so handy.

So, as far as laptops go, the qosmio range is extremely good value for money because its going to last a long time, and the best laptops, besides the short lifetimes, don't differ much aside from performance which varies within a 10% window of the average. Anything dell, acer, HP ect, besides venom, will not last very long.

toshiba is one of the few companies that actually prides itself in a quality lasting product, but the battery life is poor, hence the pc replacement. Although the ability to make it last is more a software thing than hardware.

the cheapest option may not also be the best, but if your going to mid range, get a really good computer with an upper level i5 instead of low-medium i7, those i5's are way better if you can't get the medium power i7's. Quad core means nothing without the cache / data size capabilities backing it up.

Also, on my qosmio x70, minecraft plays like a dream. I can run it at its best settings, with a graphics optimizer, i can have things playing at incredibly smooth with high and sometimes custom graphics/textures.

Ill reiterate, disregard cost, only consider lifetime. Because otherwise they are all the same if the parts are the same. Processor/graphics combo.

If your budget is under $600, take a look at Toshiba satellite C55-A5245.
