Can't open settings on Windows 10?

I installed windows 10 recently and I've been having weird problems such as not being able to open the settings and minecraft windows 10 edition freezing on menu

Go to Windows Update and make sure all drivers are up to date.
Check your PC manufacturers web site for reported issues.
